With so many mixed reviews online I was not sure what to expect on my visit to the Naild’ It salon. But I loved the fabulous decor whenever it popped up on my feed; the floral bath, rose gold pedicure tubs, and pretty floral walls definitely caught my eye. I had a girls night coming up, presenting the perfect opportunity to visit the salon. So I decided to book into the Marylebone store in London.
I chose to book their signature Rose Petal Manicure with Gel Polish, which cost a whopping £40.00. This is the most I have ever spent on a manicure and ever will so my expectations were high. The website stated this service included a collagen hand mask massage, bath petal soak, and full cuticle care. When I entered the salon I was greeted by a lovely member of staff on reception. She was really friendly and immediately encouraged me to take a tour of the salon since I was a little bit early. After taking in the gorgeous decor I headed back upstairs and I was introduced to the lady that was going to do my nails.
Although the service was lovely, I would encourage you to stick to a regular shape and polish which includes cuticle care. It costs £30.00 for gel and £20.00 for just polish. The Rose Petal manicure consisted of soaking my hands in a warm bowl of water with a few rose petals in it. I did have a collagen hand mask applied but I still feel £40.00 was quite steep for the service overall.
I will say in terms of the staff and the general ambiance and cleanliness of this salon I was really pleased. The lady that did my nails was so friendly and she really took time to talk me through the service and available shades. I do wish my gel polish had lasted longer than it did for the price I paid. Apart from that the salon had such a fun vibe and thoroughly enjoyed taking pictures in the fancy bath tub downstairs.
