How to Fail – Elizabeth Day
Every time I listen to this podcast I take something new from it. Elizabeth Day is a brilliant interviewer, she is honest, thoughtful and has the most calming voice on air. I find so much comfort in this podcast, the guests she chooses to interview have all found a way to take the negative hand they have been dealt with in life and turn into a positive. If you sometimes feel like you have left things too late in life and your dreams are never going to happen I would highly recommend this podcast.
Enjoying Everyday Life – Joyce Meyer
There is so much I could say about why I love his podcast but we would literally be here all day. Joyce Meyer is like everyone’s mum, funny but also brutally honest and speaks with so much wisdom. She speaks in a way that makes you search your heart as a human being whether you are a Christian or not you can’t listen to this podcast on a regular basis and not grow in spirit, soul and mind
In Good Company – Otegha Uwagba
Otegha is someone I really look up to and not just for her fashion sense. I was actually once on the same platform as her at Balham station but I was too shy to approach her besides the warm smile she gave me when our eyes met. Although I don’t personally own a business, I find this podcast motivational and inspiring in my job and long term career goals. So many fantastic women come on this podcast and just have great conversations with Otegha. Her interview style is a balance of practical business questions along with emotional ones too. If you haven’t already read it, you should also check out her book Little Black Book.
Daily Hope – Rick Warren
Rick is the author of the best selling book Purpose Driven Life. His messages are always so down to earth, encouraging and positive. I love that no topic is off limit with Rick. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or other mental illnesses Rick will guide you through healing and Godly encouragement to get back to being the you God created you to be. His messages bring so much joy and contentment to my life and they are always a great start to the day.
The Goop Podcast -Gwyneth Paltrow
I know I know Goop gets a lot of flack but this podcast really has broadened my mind so much. It is quite a difficult podcast to describe the best word I can think of to describe it CURIOUS. The podcast episodes are always thought provoking. I always learn something new whether it’s is about my gut health or the unconscious privilege I did not even realise I had on certain subject matters.
I have become a huge fan and I like the fact that I learn a lot of new things from it.
